How high is the Paradise Reverse?

Ridge height is 2.48m (8' 1.75"). Height matters for permitted development: staying under 2.5m usually keeps you clear of a planning application when the building is within 2m of a boundary.

How do I keep the Paradise Reverse warm in winter?

The Paradise Reverse has insulated walls, roof and floor and double glazing as standard. Most people find a small electric heater is plenty once the door has been shut for ten minutes; it is built to be used in February as well as June.

How is it different from the standard Paradise?

It is the same building, built the same way. The difference is which way it faces: the standard Paradise has its doors on the long side, and the Reverse has them on the short end with the room running back from them, which suits a narrow garden.

Do I need to treat or paint it?

Yes, and it matters for the guarantee. Treat the timber with a suitable wood preservative within 4 weeks of delivery, two to three coats the first time, then at least once a year after that, and re-treat any cut or drilled sections with cut-end treatment.

What is included in the price of the Paradise Reverse?

The kit price includes VAT and free UK mainland delivery, with a 140mm insulated roof and a 40mm insulated floor as standard rather than as an upgrade. The EPDM rubber roof, damp proof course and vinyl flooring are optional and priced per size on this page.

Do I need planning permission for the Paradise Reverse?

In most gardens, no. Garden buildings normally fall under permitted development if they sit behind the front of the house, take up less than half the garden and stay under the height limits, which is 2.5m within 2m of a boundary. Check with your local authority for anything large or close to the house.

Do you install the Paradise Reverse?

Yes. Our recommended team installs, priced by building size from £1,000 to £1,950 within 50 miles of our showroom in Cowfold, near Horsham. Further afield we often still install, priced per job: ask us and we will confirm. Installation is invoiced separately and paid on completion, never taken through the website.

How long does delivery take, and do you deliver to Scotland?

Lead time is typically 4 to 6 weeks from order. Delivery is free to every UK mainland address including Scotland, with no minimum spend. Islands, Northern Ireland and anywhere off the mainland are quoted separately, so ask us and we will price it. Delivery is kerbside or to your driveway; if our team is fitting it, they bring the packs through for you.

What base does the Paradise Reverse need?

A level, solid base slightly larger than the footprint of the size you choose. Concrete, paving slabs or a timber frame on ground screws all work. We partner with Sussex Concrete Bases: mention Garden Rooms for Sale when you book and they will look after you on price.

What guarantee comes with the Paradise Reverse?

The floor bearers are pressure treated and guaranteed for 10 years against rot and decay. Our timber guarantees run up to 10 years on tongue and groove buildings and log cabins, and up to 15 years on pressure treated buildings, provided the building is treated and maintained as set out in our returns and warranty policy.

Can I have flooring fitted?

Yes. We supply Europa cushioned vinyl in 12 colours, waterproof and wipe-clean, at £25 per square metre of floor area. On the 2.5 x 2.5m that is 6.25 m², so £156. Pick a colour on this page and it is added to your order: we cut it to the floor area and either fit it during installation or send it with the kit. Leave it set to no flooring if you would rather lay your own.

Can I see the Paradise Reverse before I buy?

We have cabins at our showroom at Camelia Botnar Garden Centre in Cowfold, near Horsham that you can walk into, and we can go through the rest of the range, sizes and prices while you are there. Open 7 days a week.
